The program would have been very helpful to me but after an MVA allocated me to disability 5 years ago my world has become a "complex case" - which is an accurate description! I was not able to access your services but I would definitely recommend you for anyone who's financial life has caught up thru no fault of your own - compost happens! The Credit Counsellor I spoke with really tried to help me with a budget (I would finally make my 84 year old chartered accountant father very happy) ! which i will definitely do when I can see the way to allocating funds I don't have yet! But... she was very helpful and sent me some really good forms etc. Thanks anyways!read less

Very efficient, Rick had the information from our first meeting at hand and I was able to update him easily with the latest set of events in my financial story. I was once again very impressed with the advice and professionalism of this counsellor. He imparted no judgment and I felt fully supported. I have a difficult situation to resolve as I am on disability now, and was feeling very distressed about how to resolve my situation when I don't have the income to do it. I left feeling calm and fully understanding my responsibility to resolve my financial woes. It is easier having a Counsellor to guide you and help correct budgeting and overspending habits. Rick is a godsend. Thank you Credit Counselling Society! What an excellent agency and resource.read less
