As a Financial Educator based in British Columbia, Anita has 15+ years in the non-profit sector, and has gained over 25 years experience in the Financial Industry. Anita brings extensive knowledge, facilitation experience and a keen ability to build lasting relationships. In addition, Anita’s wealth of financial knowledge is well supported by her positive attitude and strength in building connections and establishing relationships. Anita is passionate about educating consumers in personal finance. In her capacity as Financial Educator for British Columbia, Sheilagh presents financial literacy programs in the workplace. She champions the positive impact financial wellness provides for employees: improved well-being resulting in reduced stress, increased morale, engagement, and productivity. Sheilagh enjoys building partnerships and developing awareness about the services provided by CCS. She has over 10 years’ experience in business development, project management and producing television. Sheilagh earned a Certificate in Entertainment Administration from UBC, a Diploma in Business Management from Capilano University, and a Certified Educator in Personal Finance designation from the Centre for Financial Certifications. Email Sheilagh.

Manraj is a Financial Educator based in Edmonton, Alberta. She has over 9 years of experience in community work including 5 years with the Credit Counselling Society. She has presented at various conferences and has served on expert panels including Families Supporting Adults with Mental Illness Alberta, CPHR, and the University of Alberta. She completed her Bachelor of Commerce degree through the University of Alberta’s School of Business. She completed her Certified Educator in Personal Finance Designation in August 2017. Mark is a Financial Educator and Credit Counsellor based in Calgary, Alberta. With over 8 years of non-profit counselling experience and having worked at two big banks he has seen how money works to make people happy and sad. He has a B.A. History and attained numerous financial courses and designations that make him well versed to talk about money. Tim is the Credit Counselling Society’s Financial Educator for the GTA and surrounding area, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan, and is based out of Winnipeg. Tim has over 25 years experience in Financial Services and is a retired Certified Financial Planner (CFP). Tim also taught the CFP program for several years, completed the Canadian Securities Course (Hons.), achieved his Certificate In Management (C.I.M.) As a Financial Educator based in Hamilton, Ontario, Amanda provides financial literacy education to the people, employers, and financial institutions in these communities. Amanda has 10+ years in the non-profit sector and has gained over 9 years experience in the financial industry including her roles providing loans, mortgages, and debt recovery. In 2019, she completed her CEFP (Certified Educator in Personal Finance) designation. Catherine is a Financial Educator – eLearning Specialist and is responsible for teaching online webinars and developing eLearning content. She has over 15 years of experience in customer service, training, and management. Catherine believes that education is essential when it comes to creating a sound financial plan and is passionate about expanding financial literacy online. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree and a Diploma in Counselling and Human Development through Simon Fraser University. Channdika is a Financial Educator and eLearning Specialist and is responsible for teaching online webinars and developing eLearning content. Channdika brings her experience working as an Academic Advisor in the post-secondary setting to her role with CCS. She has an MEd. in Curriculum and Instruction and is also a certified Life and Wellness Coach, with credentials from a school that is certified by the International Coaching Federation. Channdika greatly values ensuring that all individuals and communities feel represented, supported and welcome in the education that CCS offers to the community at large. Director of Strategic Partnerships

Anne Arbour is the Director of Strategic Partnerships at the Credit Counselling Society. Anne holds an MBA and is a Certified Educator in Personal Finance with over 30 years combined experience in financial services and financial education. Anne has presented at conferences on personal money management topics and has been interviewed by print, television, and digital media outlets on similar issues. Anne has sat on several expert panels, advisory groups, and financial literacy networks, and provided regular written content for a website focused on retired Baby Boomers. A great day for Anne is when she can create a new, meaningful connection and positively impact the financial wellness of consumers across Canada. Email Anne
